”Studio Live @ The Varsity” Recorded with PCAudioLabs DAW

The new live concert series, “Studio Live @ The Varsity,” will kick-off its opening night at The Varsity Theatre on Tuesday, April 25th with special live performances by Baton Rouge’s own, THE TERMS and THE BENJY DAVIS PROJECT in addition to two local, unsigned bands to be announced shortly.

“Studio Live @ The Varsity” is the brain-child of Grammy Award winning producer and Maple Jam Records president, Greg Ladanyi. The events are scheduled to take place on the last Tuesday of every month starting with the April 25th kick-off and running throughout the year. Sponsors of “Studio Live” are Maple Jam Records, ICON-MES and 104 the X. Proceeds are going to MusiCares. “We all have to do our part to protect and support new music. Working with MusicCares will support musicians in need, that’s what we must do”, quote from Greg Ladanyi.

Each Tuesday night show will be recorded live by Greg Ladanyi with PCAudioLabs high end AMD computer, Nuendo, Shure Microphones and Apogee converters. A compilation album, of the bands who participated throughout the year will be available at the end of the series. Proceeds will go to MusiCares.

“Everyone at Maple Jam is excited to see this series begin,” said Ladanyi. “We, of course, would be thrilled to find the next great legend through the series.
