Getting started with How to use Accusonus Audio Clean-Up Assistant

The ERA plugin bundle by Accusonus brings you a group of plugin tools that let you quickly repair audio under an easy-to-use graphic user interface.

Today we are going to be working with another plugin included in this bundle, called “Audio Clean-Up Assistant”.

On previous tutorials we showed how Accusonus included several “one-function” type of plugins within the ERA 5 Bundle. The Audio Clean-Up Assistant plugin serves as a “motherboard” where users can “connect” up to 4 different plugins on a single graphic-user-interface and process the audio in series.

For the purpose of this tutorial we will be working in Ableton Live as the host application.

 

 

1. Open a Live Set that contains at least one audio track with noise that you wish to repair:

 

 

2. From the plugins list, look for Accusonus -> Audio Clean-Up Assistant:

 

 

3. Add Audio Clean-Up Assistant to your audio track:

 

 

4. Let’s focus on the plugin controls:

 

• The first thing we notice from this plugin is that it contains several “Slots” where the individual ERA’s plugins can be added. Five different slots are available so that the signal can flow from the first slot (1/5) to the last slot (5/5):

 

 

• There is also a preset selector that lets you assign a preset for specific purposes on top of the window:

 

 

• An ON/OFF switch lets you turn the plugin ON or OFF in order to bypass or activate it:

 

 

• An A/B switch lets you have two different configurations so you can toggle back and forth in order to differentiate the way they sound:

 

 

5. Let’s go ahead and use the Audio Clean-Up Assistant now!

For the purpose of this tutorial we will create a chain of several audio repair plugins from the ERA bundle.

We will add the Noise Remover on the first slot, Voice Leveler on the second slot and the Voice Deepener on the third slot.

After adding these plugins, the window will look as:

 

 

6. We can now tweak the parameters of the Noise Remover, Voice Leveler and Voice Deepener in order to repair and enhance our track as:

 

 

And that is it! We have successfully used the Audio Clean-Up Assistant from Accusonus in order to repair and enhance our tracks.
