Import Audio from Video in Cubase
Let’s say there is a video you really like because of the audio.
You want to have the audio of it, but only the audio, no need for the video to be imported.
Is there a way to import only the audio extracted from a video in Cubase?
The answer is yes!
How can we do this?
Here we go!

Open your Cubase project:
2. From the top menu bar click on: File -> Import -> Audio from Video File:
The import audio tracks from video browser will open as:
3. Select the desired video by clicking it:
4. Press “Open” and the “Import Options” window will open as:
5. Press “OK” and the audio will be imported as:
Note how Cubase created a new Audio Track and placed the audio on it. You can now press play and listen to the audio with no video.
