It is easy to note from the picture above, the new version of Ampire contains a new design that includes three main sections:

  • Cabinet
  • Pedals

If the user clicks on the amplifier head located at the top left of the window, the amplifier selection menu will appear as:

From this menu, the user can select the amplifier head by simply clicking on it. It is easy to see how PreSonus presents different options modeled after some of the most famous companies in the market such as:

  • Vox
  • Marshall
  • Mesa Boogie
  • Fender
  • Ampeg

Once an amp head has been selected, the controls of that head can be accessed from the main Ampire window. They should appear right in the center of the window as:

From this main window, the user can click on top of the small cabinet that appears on the top right and the cabinet selection menu will appear as:

The bottom part of the main Ampire window shows the user the possible pedals that can be added to the signal chain. There are 8 available slots for pedals and these can be selected by simply clicking on the small dots above the numbers labeled 1 to 8 at the bottom so that the list of pedals appears as:

The list of pedals include a vast amount of pedal emulations from the most important electric guitar companies in the market.

Once the user clicks on the small image of the pedal, it gets added to the signal chain and it should appear as:
