RETROSPECTIVE RECORD:

So, have you ever been in a situation in which you start jamming with your virtual instrument, and when you finish you say “Okay. Let’s record it” and then NEVER get the same feeling as when jamming?

You probably felt disappointed that you could not play that perfect synth solo again, right?

Those days are over!

Studio One 5.1 now features the “Retrospective Record” feature that pretty much records everything you play on a “buffer” so you can retrieve it as soon as you finish, if you liked it.

Here’s how:

  1. Have your virtual instrument track ready and record enabled:

2. Press PLAY and start jamming, have fun!

3. Once finished, locate the INSPECTOR view of the track:

4. Click on the red circle next to “Retrospective Recording”

And, just like that, the jam you just played, appears on the timeline!

NEW AMPIRE AND PEDAL FEATURES:

Now you can drag-and-drop pedals from Ampire into Pedalboard!

So basically, you create your desired chain in Ampire, pin it, open Pedalboard, click and drag… As simple as that. Easy and fast.
